Project description:
E-learning or on-line training course is a training technique which is based on the adjustment and supplying of pedagogical contents through an electronic means. The notion of e-learning comprises all tools, applications and the entirety of contents which are offered to a learner towards the end of his/her pedagogical training.
The training will be organized in favor of 32 youth leaders and youth workers coming from 15 European countries (from the E.U., the Eastern Europe and the Caucasus) with a view to help them exchange their experiences and good practices and develop their competences about no-formal education of young people through the new technologies. During the course, the participants will piece together and develop a On line platform promoting the no-formal education centered on the Web in the interest of the youth leaders and youth workers, by taking advantage of the existing learning platform based on the Web, called “Moodle”.
Aims and objectives:
The basic aims of this TC course is to offer participants opportunity to acquire new knowledge, skills and competences of using modern learning and teaching online technologies based on well-known and confirmed theories of learning in the processes of planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating learning processes in non-formal learning activities. Also, the aim of the TC is to encourage participants to use modern technologies and its advantages in their non-formal learning activities and youth work in general. The more specific aims are to provide participants space to share their experiences and views of using online technologies in youth work, - its advantages and disadvantages; to commonly work with help of trainers and facilitators in developing example of online course using well-known web application “Moodle” and its various learning modules; and to develop their own e-learning platforms for the purposes of their own youth projects.
Participant's profile:
Participants: Youth workers, youth leaders, youth project manager, young people who have a good experience in non-formal education for youth. (There is no age limit for participation).

Venue:
The training course will take place in Lefkada. The island of Lefkada, also called Lefkas, is the fourth largest island of the Ionian Islands.
Accommodation and food:
Participants will be hosted at ΝIRIKOS Hotel which is in the centre of the city at the seaside very close to cafes, bars, clubs, restaurants, shops, internet café etc.
Participation Fee:
- 100% of accommodation and basic food, 100% of activities fee, and 70% of your travel cost are covered by the project (The costs of taxis and private car are not reimbursable).
- You have to pay 30% of your travel cost and 40 euro participation fee for AVI-Moldova members and 45 euro for the others. You will get DVD with photos, videos and the content of our TC, and a copy of magazine that we will create together.
