Lets rebuild the old "Fort de Jouy"

Who? Participants between 18-99 years old
Description: The "Fort de Jouy sous les Côtes" is a former military castle built in 1885 in Géville, a village located in Lorraine. The association "Friends of the Fort de Jouy" are busy restoring this castle for many years.
Type of Work: The volunteers will work to restore this castle with local French volunteers, doing varied tasks such as masonry, painting and maintenance work. Work is hard and physical!
Study Theme: Restoration of the local heritage in order to allow the population to revisit its History.
Accommodation: The volunteers will sleep inside the fort on real beds with real mattresses. Please bring a WARM sleeping bag as it can be very cold at night, even in July.
Requirements: Be prepared to summary living conditions, hard work, awesome meals and superb landscapes.
Approximate Location: Near the town of Géville
Travel cost: to be covered by the volunteer.
Participation fee: 50 euro.
Deadline: 24 June 2017.
