“SFERA” movement is happy to invite you to participate in Training Course "FreeSbee – be free from Stereotypes!" which will take place in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia from 23d till 29th of May, 2011 with the support of the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.
Training Course aims to give the young people a possibility to confront inherited prejudices and stereotypes with reality and change negative images through direct contact, cultural and national aspect in order to be successful leaders of international multicultural groups.
In the frame of the training course following topics will be touched:
- intercultural learning;
- leadership in multi-cultural, multi-national groups;
- team-building;
- group dynamic,
- decision-making and conflict transformation;
- key constituents of the intercultural dialogue;
- non-formal education;
- integration of vulnerable and disabled volunteers in the group;
- tolerance and peace-building;
- promotion of European solidarity and cooperation;
- effective communication in a group
PARTICIPANT’S PROFILE
Participants should be from Council of Europe member states.
We expect to meet young people at the age 18-30 who already have or would like to have an experience of work camp or other international project leading.
CONDITIONS
The TC is scheduled for May 23-29, 2011 and will be hosted in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia. Financial support is provided by the European Youth Foundation. All costs will be covered except for 25% of the international travel costs and a participation fee of EUR 60. The TC will be held in English.
